Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore John Sotos (Dublin/Coffman) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 8, it was announced by the NCAC.

Sotos, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's cross country team, was named Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Sotos finished second overall in the season-opening Kenyon Invitational on Tuesday, completing the 5000-meter course in 17:23.0.  He then broke the tape at the OWU Invitational on Saturday, crossing the finish line in 26:26.6 to win the race by more than 5 seconds.
