Major: Middle childhood education
How/Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose Ohio Wesleyan because it allowed me to play the sport I love, while being able to get involved and study what I wanted.
How/Why did you choose your major?
I chose middle childhood education to become a teacher because I love working with students, especially my 6th graders this semester! Also, having the opportunity to be a positive support system and influence for students, as well as educate them to become well-informed and active citizens in the community.
Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I have played softball since I was a little girl and wanting to continue playing in college was a dream of mine. Ohio Wesleyan was the perfect place for me with a great, family-oriented program that truly cares about their players.
What is your favorite memory on an Ohio Wesleyan team?
All of our spring break trips down in Florida!
How/why did you choose your event/position?
I like being able to have the freedom in the outfield to back up my team, as well as being able to hold my own as a pitcher with my team behind me.
What athletic or academic achievement/accomplishment are you most proud of?
Receiving first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors as an outfielder.
What are your plans after graduation?
To find a teaching position within the Columbus area.
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
To be able to fly.
When you’re having a bad day, what do you do to make yourself feel better?
Ice cream and a movie.
