How/Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose Ohio Wesleyan because of how tight the community is. Professors and alums support you in every aspect to help you get on the right track to start off your professional career. Also, having the ability to play two sports at a competitive level was a plus.
How/why did you choose your major?
I chose my major because of my love for athletics. Sports have always been such a huge aspect of my life and I knew that I wanted to continue to be incorporated in the field in the future.
What is your number one goal, personal or team, for this season?
Both teams I am a part of have grown immensely in the past couple of years. Our goals for this season are to continue down that path and to compete for the NCAC championship.
What event/sport other than your own would you like to try?
I have always wanted to play hockey.
What athletic or academic achievement/accomplishment are you most proud of?
I think my biggest achievement so far was being inducted into (Chi Alpha Sigma,) the national college athlete honor society. It brings together both the academic and athletic parts of my college career and it is something I am very proud of.
What did you do to put yourself in position to achieve that (goal/accomplishment/etc)?
I just work as hard as I can in the classroom and on the field. OWU does a great job of making sure that academics come first and that support is what has allowed me to achieve this.
Is there a specific coach or teammate who has helped you get where you are?
My goalkeeper coach, Chad Prickett, has been amazing during my time here, as well as all of my teammates on both teams. We have been able to work together to create an environment during training that pushes each and every one of us to get better.
Which three people, living or dead, would you like to share a meal with?
Aaron Rodgers, Ryan Reynolds, and Seth Rogen.
What is your ideal travel destination?
I have always wanted to travel to New Zealand and hike. The scenery there is unbelievable and I hope to visit at some point during my lifetime.
If you could visit another time, when would it be and why?
Definitely the roaring '20s.
