Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
My coach reached out to me and I was able to do a camp on campus. I fell in love with how beautiful the campus is and how close the lacrosse team was. Ohio Wesleyan was a perfect fit for me!
Why did you choose your major?
I always wanted to work with people and make an impact, no matter how small.
Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I have played lacrosse for as long as I remember. All my female cousins and my sister played lacrosse in college and I knew it was perfect for me as well. I couldn't find myself (stopping) playing lacrosse anytime soon.
What is your favorite memory on an Ohio Wesleyan team?
My favorite memory was probably spring break my freshman year. We had a huge Airbnb and drove down in vans. I was able to get close to my teammates and had a lot of fun!
What are your strengths as an athlete (as an individual)?
I think my strength is my selflessness and positivity. It doesn't matter to me what I do on the field, I just want to be able to set my teammates up for success. Goals are great, but assists mean more to me.
What is your number one goal, personal or team, for this season?
My number one personal goal is to be able to help my team any way possible to be able to progress towards winning the NCAC.
What athletic or academic achievement/accomplishment are you most proud of? What did you do to put yourself in position to achieve that?
My biggest athletic achievement was coming back from tearing my ACL. I tore it in my senior year of high school and had a lot of complications, but I was able to come back after 2 surgeries and 10 months of PT! I worked hard every single day.
Is there a specific coach or teammate who has helped you get where you are?
My junior varsity coach, Paul Chapman, genuinely helped make me the player I am today. He encouraged me to keep working hard after every play and helped me become a leader on the field!
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
I think talking to animals would be cool. I would love to know what my dog, Millie, has to say!
What is your favorite place to eat in Delaware, and what is your go-to dish there?
My favorite place to eat in Delaware is definitely Fresh Start and my go-to would be the caprese everything bagel with a hazelnut latte.
What is your theme song?
Hard choice, since music is a huge part of my day-to-day. One of my favorite songs right now would be "Work" by Iggy Azalea!
What is your ideal travel destination?
My ideal travel destination is either Ireland or Copenhagen, Denmark.
What advice would you give to someone considering becoming a student-athlete?
Be positive and work hard! Don't take a single thing for granted and treat every practice and game like it could be your last.
What is your dream job and why?
My dream job is to be a clinical therapist. I really want to be able to help people!
