Name:  Sophia Roush

Class year:  2028

Major:  Exercise science, minor in psychology

Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose Ohio Wesleyan mainly for the basketball team.  I instantly connected with the coaches and players and felt like I could fit in here.  I also liked the facilities and the look of the campus.

Why did you choose your major?
I chose exercise science because I wanted to go into something that had to do with sports.  I also want to become a physical therapist and be able to help others.

Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose to compete in sports at OWU to be able to play at a high level and be involved in a community of other athletes and teammates.

Do you have any pre-event rituals or superstitions?
I eat Subway and drink Bodyarmor before every game and I listen to music.

Why did you choose your position?
I have always been a point guard/shooting guard and being able to run an offense or make plays for the team entices me.

Why do you like your position?
I like having the ability to get other people the ball and lead to their success while still building on mine as well.

What are your strengths as an athlete (as an individual)?
As an athlete and individual I try to always attack things with a positive attitude and find fun in whatever I am doing.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
If I could have a superpower I would want to be able to read minds. I think it would be interesting to hear what everyone is thinking at certain times.

If you could visit another time, when would it be and why?
I would visit the [Mesozoic Era] and ride a dinosaur.

What is your dream job and why?
My dream job is to become a physical therapist and be able to help others with whatever is affecting them.
