Senior midfielder Tyler Wall (Columbus/Upper Arlington) scored with 2:13 remaining in the second overtime period to lift fourth-ranked Ohio Wesleyan over Wittenberg in North Coast Athletic Conference action on Wednesday in Springfield.
The win extended Ohio Wesleyan's unbeaten string in NCAC games to 28 games (27-0-1), tying the NCAC record of 28 (26-0-2) set by Ohio Wesleyan from 2004-07. Combining the 2 streaks, along with the 2 conference losses that separated them, gives the Bishops an astounding record of 53-2-3 in conference play since October 2004, a winning percentage of .940.
Wall ended the game late in the second overtime, beating Tiger keeper Michael Lambeck with a shot inside the right post from inside the penalty area.
