Junior forward Travis Wall (Columbus/Upper Arlington) scored 2 goals and set up senior forward Tyler Bryant (Chillicothe/Unioto) on what proved to be the game-winner as 16th-ranked Ohio Wesleyan opened its North Coast Athletic Conference schedule with an impressive win over 22nd-ranked Kenyon on Saturday in Gambier.

Wall staked the Bishops to a 1-0 lead, scoring off an assist from senior back Brian Greene (Beavercreek) in the ninth minute.

Kenyon came back to even the score in the 13th minute when Peter Nolan headed the ball to J.J. Jemison, who finished the chance to tie the game at 1-1.

Ohio Wesleyan took the lead for good in the 16th minute. Wall slotted a pass that freed Bryant for the scoring chance, and Bryant finished for a 2-1 Bishop lead.

Wall scored off a pass from senior back Eric Laipple (Westerville/South) for a 3-1 Ohio Wesleyan lead midway through the first half.

Senior midfielder Tyler Wall (Columbus/Upper Arlington) converted a penalty kick in the 61st minute to account for the 4-1 final.

Sophomore Paul Hendricks (Columbus/Worthington Kilbourne) posted 1 save in the Ohio Wesleyan goal. Kenyon's Tyler Schatz had 1 save during the first half, and Jared Kunze came on in the second half and recorded 2 saves.
