Junior setter Brittany Vickers (Newark/Utica) stood out for the Ohio Wesleyan offense in a North Coast Athletic Conference match against Oberlin on Saturday in Oberlin.

The Yeowomen defeated the Bishops by scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-14.

Vickers led the Bishops with 4 kills and collected 11 assists. Junior outside hitter Megan Weissenberger (Toledo/Central Catholic), sophomore middle hitter Tamra Londot (Utica), sophomore outside hitter Katie Fain (Vandalia/Butler), and junior middle hitter Ashley Haynes (Norton) added 3 kills apiece.

Defensive leaders for the Bishops included freshman middle hitter Margaux Erilane (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Vistamar), who racked up a team-leading 2 blocks; sophomore libero Emily Stewart (Toledo/East Palestine), who had a team-high 7 digs; Weissenberger, who recorded 6 digs; and Vickers, who added 6 digs.
