Denison 3, Ohio Wesleyan 2

Junior outside hitter Megan Weissenberger (Toledo/Central Catholic) paced the Ohio Wesleyan offense as the Bishops built a 2-sets-to-1 lead, but Denison rallied to take a North Coast Athletic Conference win on Saturday in Granville.

The Big Red defeated the Bishops by scores of 25-18, 20-25, 25-27, 25-14, 15-10.

Weissenberger led the Bishops with 19 kills and added 4 block assists and 9 digs. Sophomore outside hitter Katie Fain (Vandalia/Butler) followed with 11 kills. Junior setter Brittany Vickers (Newark/Utica) finished with a team-high 36 assists and added 4 block assists.

Sophomore middle hitter Tamra Londot (Utica) led the Bishop defense with 6 blocks, while sophomore libero Emily Stewart (Toledo/East Palestine) had a team-leading 23 digs.
