Senior outside hitter Katie Fain (Vandalia/Butler) led the Ohio Wesleyan offense in a North Coast Athletic Conference match against Hiram on Saturday at Branch Rickey Arena.

The Terriers defeated the Bishops by scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-14.

Fain pounded out a team-best 7 kills, while senior middle hitter Tamra Londot (Utica) and freshman right-side hitter Kacy Gurewitz (San Ramon, Calif./Dougherty Valley) added 4 kills apiece.  Freshman setter Shannon Schlater (Englewood/Northmont) collected 18 assists.

Defensive standouts for the Bishops included sophomore middle hitter Meigan Day (Port Clinton), who had a team-high 2 blocks, and sophomore libero Danielle Birney (Toledo/Sylvania Southview) who led the Bishops with 17 digs.
