Senior middle hitter Tamra Londot (Utica) and sophomore middle hitter Meigan Day (Port Clinton) led Ohio Wesleyan during a pair of matches at the Rose-Hulman Invitational, hosted by the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Saturday in Terre Haute, Ind.

Defiance defeated Ohio Wesleyan by scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-15, and Rose-Hulman defeated the Bishops by scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-22.

Against Defiance, Londot led the way with 7 kills, while Day followed with 6.  Freshman setter Shannon Schlater (Englewood/Northmont) collected 17 assists.

Day had a team-high 5 blocks to spark the Bishop defense, while Londot finished with 4 blocks.  Sophomore libero Danielle Birney (Toledo/Sylvania Southview) finished with 35 digs.

Against Rose-Hulman, Day had a team-high 13 kills, while Londot followed with 7.  Schlater distributed 22 assists.

Defensively, Birney led the way with 14 digs.
