Sophomore outside hitter Megan Weissenberger (Toledo/Central Catholic) led the Ohio Wesleyan offense as the Bishops completed play in the Manchester Invitational on Sunday at Manchester College in North Manchester, Ind.

Millikin defeated the Bishops in their first match of the day, winning by scores of 25-9, 25-12, 25-20. Anderson then took a 25-15, 25-11, 25-15 verdict from Ohio Wesleyan.

Weissenberger led the Bishops with 6 kills against Millikin, with senior setter Sarah Marshall (Lima/Senior) contributing 5 kills along with her team-high 13 assists. Freshman middle hitter Tamra Londot (Utica) and freshman outside hitter Katie Fain (Vandalia/Butler) added 4 kills apiece. Senior outside hitter Alexa Bean (Columbus/Upper Arlington) paced the Bishop defense with 14 digs.

Against Anderson, Weissenberger and Londot shared the team lead with 5 kills apiece. Marshall compiled 16 assists, sophomore middle hitter Ashley Haynes (Norton) paced the Bishop defense with 3 blocks, and Weissenberger collected a team-high 13 digs.

Bean represented the Bishops on the all-tournament team.
