Trey Diggs converted a 3-point play to give the Falcons an early lead, but Carter countered with a lay-in to make it 3-2. After hoops by Myron Gordon and Joe Reece, Carter buried a 3-pointer to bring the Bishops within 7-5 at the 17:27 mark of the first half.
Bowling Green then scored the next 16 points, getting a pair of 3-pointers from Diggs and another dunk by Reece before a 3-point play by Daeqwon Plowden finished off the Falcon flurry.
Three-pointers by senior post Nick Carlson (Dublin/Coffman) and senior guard Curtis White (Lawrenceburg, Ind.) kept the Bishops in the game, and trifectas from junior post Grant Spicer (Cincinnati/Lakota East) and freshman guard Henry Hinkle (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) later in the first half preceded lay-ins by junior wing Jack Clement (Bellefontaine) and Spicer that made it 44-27 with 4 minutes remaining in the first half.
The Falcons finished off the half with an 18-6 run, with 3-pointers coming from Plowden, Diggs, and Samari Curtis for a 62-33 lead at the break, and Bowling Green would pull away during the second half.
Hinkle led the Bishops with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Diggs finished with 20 points to lead 6 Falcons in double digits.
