Ohio Wesleyan University junior Dalton Rice (Caldwell/Shenandoah) was voted to the Academic All-District® VII football teams, it was announced today.

Rice was a first-team Academic All-District® selection and will advance to the Academic All-America® ballot.

Rice, an offensive tackle, helped the Bishops average 383.7 yards per game in total offense this season.  He majors in economics.  Rice also was a first-team Academic All-District® pick during the 2020-21 season.

The Academic All-District® teams are selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America, with District VII consisting of schools in Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. To be considered for the teams, one must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better and be a starter or important reserve.
