Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore outside hitter Melissa Murray (Chardon/Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin), freshman middle blocker Ava Kutilek (Wilmette, Ill./New Trier), and junior outside hitter Eliza Richardson (Lakewood) were named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference volleyball teams, it was announced today.
Murray was a second-team all-conference choice, and Kutilek and Richardson were honorable mention picks.
Murray ranks 12th in the NCAC attack percentage (.234), 13th in kills (210), 15th in kills average (2.50/set), 16th in points (233), 18th in points average (2.8/set), and is tied for 21st in block assists (34).
Kutilek leads the league in block assists (73) and ranks seventh in total blocks (77), eighth in blocks average (0.84/set) and attack percentage (.272), and 24th in points (193½).
Richardson ranks third in the conference in kills average (3.21/set), fifth in points average (3.6/set), 10th in points (288½), and 11th in kills (257). Richardson was an honorable mention All-NCAC pick in 2019.
Ohio Wesleyan was 12-13 going into this weekend's NCAC tournament. Ohio Wesleyan went 5-3 in NCAC matches and tied for third place in the conference standings.
