Ohio Wesleyan University senior Hector Gomez (Columbus/St. Francis DeSales) and sophomore Jaggar Brooker (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) were named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-America teams, it was announced today.

Gomez, a midfielder, was a first-team All-America selection, while Brooker, a forward, won third-team All-America honors.

Gomez shared the North Coast Athletic Conference lead in goals (12), tied for second in assists (7), and led the league in points (31).  He repeated as the NCAC Midfielder of the Year.  Gomez was a third-team All-America selection in 2019.

Brooker led the NCAC and is tied for 11th in NCAA Division III in game-winning goals (6).  He ranked fifth in the conference in goals (10) and points (22) and was named the NCAC's Offensive Player of the Year.

Ohio Wesleyan finished the season with a 15-3-2 record.  The Battling Bishops went 8-1-0 in NCAC competition, finishing second in the league standings.  Ohio Wesleyan made its NCAA-record 42nd Division III tournament appearance and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament.
