Ohio Wesleyan University senior Hector Gomez (Columbus/St. Francis DeSales) was named to the D3soccer.com All-America teams, it was announced today by D3soccer.com.

Gomez, a midfielder, was a first-team All-America pick.

Gomez shared the North Coast Athletic Conference lead in goals (12), tied for second in assists (7), and led the league in points (31).  He repeated as the NCAC Midfielder of the Year.  Gomez was a second-team All-America selection by D3soccer.com for the 2019 season.

Ohio Wesleyan finished the season with a 15-3-2 record.  The Battling Bishops went 8-1-0 in NCAC competition, finishing second in the league standings.  Ohio Wesleyan made its NCAA-record 42nd Division III tournament appearance and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament.
