Ohio Wesleyan University freshman Natalie Ryan (Beavercreek/Dayton Carroll) received a special award as part of the All-North Coast Athletic Conference women's soccer teams, it was announced today.

Ryan, a goalkeeper, was named Newcomer of the Year and was a second-team All-NCAC selection.

Sophomore defender Madison Cofer (New Albany) and freshman midfielder Tiffany Trinh (Dublin/Scioto) were first-team All-NCAC choices, and sophomore midfielder Ryan O'Neill (Cincinnati/Maineville Little Miami) was a third-team all-conference pick.

Ryan leads the NCAC and is tied for sixth in NCAA Division III in shutouts (11), leads the league and ranks ninth nationally in saves percentage (.908), and leads the conference and ranks 10th nationally in goals-against average (0.385).

Cofer helped the Bishop defense post 13 shutouts, leading the NCAC and tied for 11th in NCAA Division III, and allow a league-low 7 goals on the season.

Trinh shared the team lead and is tied for sixth in the conference with 5 goals, leads the team and is tied for seventh in the NCAC with 12 points, and is tied for fifth in the NCAC with 2 game-winning goals this season.

O'Neill, a defensive midfielder, scored 1 goal and was a catalyst in transition for the Bishops this season.  O'Neill was an honorable mention All-NCAC pick in 2021.

Ohio Wesleyan finished the season with a 12-3-4 record, including a 4-1-2 mark in NCAC competition, good for a third-place tie in the conference standings.  The Battling Bishops made their first NCAC tournament appearance since 2011 and recorded the team's highest win total since 2011.
