Sophomore forward Avery Maxeiner (Sunbury/Big Walnut) put Ohio Wesleyan ahead to stay with a goal in the eighth minute, and the Bishops went on to a non-conference in over Muskingum on Saturday in New Concord.

Maxeiner fielded a pass from freshman midfielder Tiffany Trinh (Dublin/Scioto) and finished the chance at the 7:54 mark.

Junior forward Ali Claus (Milford) and junior midfielder Jaelyn Dodson (Cincinnati/West Clermont) added goals later in the half as the Bishops built a 3-0 lead at the intermission.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot Muskingum, 32-8, including a 25-2 margin during the first half.  Freshman Natalie Ryan (Beavercreek/Dayton Carroll) had 1 save during the first half and junior Abby Markley (Westerville/North) and senior Makayla Burzynski (Bexley) split the second half in the Bishop goal, each credited with 1 save.
