Sophomore midfielder Maya Burlingame (Canton/GlenOak) scored the game's only goal to give Ohio Wesleyan a North Coast Athletic Conference win over Kenyon on Tuesday at the Jay Martin Soccer Complex.

Senior forward Ali Claus (Milford) sent the ball up the right side to freshman forward Caroline Thomas (Perrysburg), who crossed the ball to Burlingame.  Burlingame finished the chance in front with 13:16 left in regulation time.

Kenyon had a chance at the equalizer just over 15 seconds later, when a shot by Eun Hae Lillig was blocked by the Bishop defense and a follow shot was stopped by sophomore goalkeeper Natalie Ryan (Beavercreek/Dayton Carroll).

Ryan made another save, this time denying a shot by Morgan Baker in the 86th minute, and the Bishop defense prevented any follow shots from reaching the goal.  The Owls had additional looks in the 87th and 90th minutes, but the Bishop defense blocked both shots.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot Kenyon, 24-13.  Ryan recorded 4 saves in the Bishop goal.
