Sophomore back Gabe O'Reilly (Westerville/Columbus St. Charles) rang up 2 goals, including the game-winner, to spark a 3-goal, second-half outburst that sent Ohio Wesleyan past Wooster in a North Coast Athletic Conference contest on Saturday in Wooster.
The Fighting Scots took the lead in the 30th minute on a goal by Kyle Stringer. Zach Napora and Max Wiley were credited with assists on the play.
Senior back Charlie Riddle (Hilliard/Davidson) got the equalizer in the 37th minute, courtesy of a pass from junior midfielder Drew Doza (Lexington, Ky./Dunbar).
O'Reilly put the Bishops ahead to stay in the 62nd minute, with junior midfielder Landon Kuhn (Lewis Center/Olentangy Berlin) credited with an assist on the play.
O'Reilly followed up with a score in the 65th minute, and sophomore forward Christopher Guerra (Columbus/Worthington Kilbourne) provided some insurance with a score in the 75th minute, with Riddle setting up the goal.
Ohio Wesleyan outshot Wooster, 24-11. Senior goalkeeper Mason Taylor (Marysville) recorded 5 saves in the Bishop goal.
