Kenyon broke a scoreless tie in the closing minutes of the first half and went on to a North Coast Athletic Conference win over Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday in Gambier.

The Owls took the lead when Pablo Portillo scored with 3:03 remaining before the intermission.

Kenyon added some insurance on a goal by Eamon Dujakovich in the 59th minute, with Isaac Cortez credited with an assist on the play.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot Kenyon, 10-8.  Senior goalkeeper Mason Taylor (Marysville) made 1 save in the Bishop goal.
