Women's Soccer Announces Incoming Class

Eleven student-athletes will continue their education at Ohio Wesleyan University and be candidates for the 2023 Battling Bishop women's soccer team, it was announced by Ohio Wesleyan head coach Pat Ferguson.

The class includes:

Name:  Jordyn Adams
Position:  Forward
Hometown/High School:  Carroll, Ohio/Bloom Carroll
Parents:  Kerry & Jennifer
Club Team:  Club Ohio
Soccer Awards:  first-team All-Ohio 2022, 2-time conference Player of the Year, 4-time first-team all-conference, 4-time first-team all-district, 49 goals and 14 assists as senior, 103 career goals.
Academic Awards:  4-year Principal's Honor Roll.

Name:  Charlotte Bynum
Position:  Left outside midfielder
Hometown/High School:  Grafton, Ohio/Midview

Soccer Awards:  Team's "Best Play Maker" award, "Most Spirited," 4-year varsity letterwinner, 3-year varsity starter, 10 goals and 28 assists.
Academic Awards:  4-year Honor Roll, Academic "M," Honor Diploma.

Soccer Awards:  first-team All-SBAAC, team Golden Boot, first-team All-Cincinnati Enquirer, Ohio #1 "Goal of the Week," 20 goals and 43 points as senior (fifth in SBAAC).
Cross Country and Track & Field Awards:  Cross Country All-Ohio Academic, qualified for state championship, All-SBAAC "Runner of the Year, 3200-meter school record holder, 3200-meter district champion 2022; 800-meter and 1600-meter league champion.
Basketball Awards:  second-team All-SBACC.
Academic Awards:  National Honor Society; Phi Delta Sigma (Wilmington High School scholastic honor society).
