Women's Soccer Shuts Out Muskingum

Freshman forward Jordyn Adams (Carroll/Bloom-Carroll) put Ohio Wesleyan ahead to stay and sophomore goalkeeper Natalie Ryan (Beavercreek/Dayton Carroll) turned in a shutout as the Bishops blanked Muskingum on Wednesday at the Jay Martin Soccer Complex.

Adams fielded a pass from freshman midfielder Alex Foster (Tipp City/Tippecanoe) and scored in the 39th minute.

The Bishops pulled away during the second half.  Sophomore midfielder Tiffany Trinh (Dublin/Scioto) scored off a centering pass from sophomore midfielder Athena Kolettis (Northfield/Nordonia) in the 49th minute, and junior defender Madison Cofer (New Albany) headed home an Adams corner kick in the 65th minute.  Just over 2 minutes later, freshman midfielder Kaia Vorenkamp (Chapel Hill, N.C./Durham Academy) scored after a corner kick.  Ohio Wesleyan closed out the scoring with goals from junior forward Avery Maxeiner (Sunbury/Big Walnut) and senior forward Ali Claus (Milford).

Ohio Wesleyan outshot Muskingum, 39-4.  Ryan recorded 2 saves in the Bishop goal.
