Junior midfielder Ryan O'Neill (Cincinnati/Maineville Little Miami) scored to even the game at 1 midway through the first half, but Albion took the lead in the second half and went on to a non-conference win on Saturday in Albion, Mich.

The Britons had taken the lead on Avery Campbell's goal in the 24th minute.

Just under 3 minutes later, the Bishops drew a foul and O'Neill stepped to the spot and converted a penalty kick to knot the score.

Sophomore goalkeeper Natalie Ryan (Beavercreek/Dayton Carroll) preserved the deadlock with a stop of a shot by Campbell in the 43rd minute.

Sophomore forward Ava Bruns (Delaware/Hayes) had a look at the go-ahead score 7 minutes into the second half, but her shot was saved by Romee Natschke.

Albion took the lead with 14:29 left in regulation time on a score by Ryann Locke.  Avery Kasanic was credited with an assist on the play.

Junior defender Kaylee DeShong (Canal Winchester) had a chance in the closing minutes, but her shot was cleared off the line by the Briton defense.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot Albion, 18-9.  Ryan finished with 3 saves.
