Elle Sutter and Jordan Lange scored 2 goals apiece to help North Central to a non-conference decision over Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday at the Jay Martin Soccer Complex.

The Cardinals took the lead in the 13th minute when Sarah Andrey set up Sutter on a goal, then added to the lead when Lange fielded a short corner, headed away from the end line, then cut inside and connected on a shot in the 20th minute.

Sutter scored midway through the opening half, with Kaitlyn Cannon and Lange credited with assists on the play.

Junior midfielder Ryan O'Neill (Cincinnati/Maineville Little Miami) put the Bishops on the scoreboard by converting a penalty kick, but the Cardinals answered during the final minute of the half when Erin Jaskierski's shot was stopped by sophomore goalkeeper Natalie Ryan (Beavercreek/Dayton Carroll), with Cardinal teammate Sophia Hein getting to the rebound and scoring.

Lange scored early in the second half, and Andrey added an unassisted goal in the 88th minute.

Freshman forward Jordyn Adams (Carroll/Bloom-Carroll) wrapped up the day's scoring, with freshman forward Caroline Thomas (Perrysburg) credited with an assist on the play.

North Central outshot Ohio Wesleyan, 27-14.  Ryan had 5 saves during the first half and senior Abby Markley (Westerville/North) made 9 saves during the second half.
