Junior midfielder Tiffany Trinh (Dublin/Scioto) led the scoring efforts for Ohio Wesleyan women's soccer team with 5 shots during the game as the Bishops played to a 0-0 draw against Wittenberg on Saturday at the Jay Martin Soccer Complex.

The Bishops dominated early, earning a corner kick less than 2 minutes into the match.  They held Wittenberg without a shot until the 20th minute.  Sophomore forward Jordyn Adams (Carroll, Ohio Bloom-Carroll) dished out 5 corner kicks in the first half but the Bishops were unable to get a goal on any of them.

Tigers goalkeeper Lily Winkle was all over the place for Wittenberg, making 4 saves in the first half on the Bishops' 14 shots.  Junior forward Ava Bruns (Delaware/Hayes) had a good look to end the half but Winkle was able to collect it to keep it scoreless.

Wittenberg battled back in the second half, doubling their shot attempts, but junior goalkeeper Natalie Ryan (Beavercreek/Dayton Carroll) made 4 saves to keep them out of the net.  In the 80th minute, Ryan came out of goal to collect a ball but Chamberlain Browning of Wittenberg was able to collect it.  Although Browning sent it wide, senior defender Kaylee DeShong (Canal Winchester) was there to clean up.

The Bishops had another good look by Bruns with less then 10 minutes to play that bounced off the crossbar to go wide.  A shot by sophomore midfielder Kaia Vorenkamp (Chapel Hill, N.C./Durham Academy) was the last look that the Bishops had before time ran down to the 0-0 draw.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot Wittenberg, 24-10. Trinh led with 5 shots while Vorenkamp and Bruns followed with 4 each. Ryan finished with 5 saves in the net for the Bishops.
