The Ohio Wesleyan volleyball team was predicted to finish second and DePauw University was the preseason favorite in balloting by North Coast Athletic Conference volleyball coaches in their 2024 preseason poll.
DePauw, the defending conference champion, received 5 of the 8 first-place votes cast by league coaches for 60 total points. Ohio Wesleyan received one first-place vote and finished second with 55 points, and Wittenberg, the defending NCAC tournament champion, received 2 first-place votes and finished third with 53 points. Denison finished fourth in the poll with 39 points, followed by Oberlin (28), Hiram (27), and Kenyon and Wooster (13).
Ohio Wesleyan opens its season on Saturday, Aug. 31, against Widener in San Juan, P.R.
