Sophomore outside hitter Natalie Dieball (Cincinnati/Lakota East) contributed 6 kills during the third set as Ohio Wesleyan took a 2-1 lead in the match, but North Park rallied for a win during the second day of the Puerto Rico Clasico Tournament on Sunday in San Juan, P.R.

The Vikings won the match by scores of 16-25, 25-20, 25-27, 25-23, 15-9.

With the match even at a set apiece, North Park took a 25-24 lead on a kill by Kendal Britton, but the Bishops bounced back to score the next 3 points, getting a Dieball kill and a set-ending ace from junior setter Lily Bechina (Chicago, Ill./Jones College Prep).

North Park took a 22-13 lead in the fourth set only to see Ohio Wesleyan rally to within a single point.  Dieball had 2 kills and Bechina and freshman middle blocker Jordanne Shannon (Detroit, Mich./West Bloomfield) teamed up on 3 blocks before another Bechina ace brought the Bishops within 24-23. but the Vikings got a kill from Adriana Rodriguez to take the set and send the match to a fifth set.  There, the Bishops were within 10-8 but Rodriguez had a pair of kills down the stretch as North Park ended the set and the match with a 8-1 run.

Dieball led the Bishops with 23 kills.  Bechina finished with 35 assists and a team-high 7 blocks.  Sophomore defensive specialist Avery Krause (Cleveland/Holy Name) led the Bishops with 20 digs.
