Sophomore forward Jordyn Adams (Carroll/Bloom-Carroll) scored 2 goals and set up another to fuel the Ohio Wesleyan offense in a non-conference win over Alma on Sunday at the Jay Martin Soccer Complex.

Adams put the Bishops on the scoreboard midway through the first half, fielding a pass from senior midfielder Ryan O'Neill (Maineville/Little Miami) near the top of the penalty area and firing a shot past Fighting Scot keeper Mya Pofahl.

Ohio Wesleyan increased its lead to 2-0 when Adams centered the ball into the box and sophomore midfielder Taylor Noszka (Wilmington) tipped it past Pofahl for the score.

In the 53rd minute, junior defender Halle Dacek (Middleburg Heights/Berea-Midpark) drew a foul inside the penalty area and O'Neill stepped to the spot and converted a penalty kick to make it a 3-0 game.

Adams collected her second goal of the game when a crossing pass was played out of the penalty area by a Fighting Scot defender, but Adams settled the ball and sent a shot inside the right post in the 58th minute.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot Alma, 25-10.  Junior goalkeeper Natalie Ryan (Beavercreek/Dayton Carroll) had 1 save during the first half.  Freshman Payton Beard (Cincinnati/St. Ursula) and freshman Lilly Caldwell (Milford/Cincinnati Ursuline Academy) completed the shutout in the Bishop goal.
