Case Reserve's Jamie Goldfarb scored with :02 left in the first half and the 13th-ranked Spartans went on to a non-conference win over Ohio Wesleyan on Monday in Cleveland.

Ohio Wesleyan was whistled for a foul about 22 yards away from the goal with just under 30 seconds remaining in the half.  The teams lined up while the clock continued to run until there were 5 seconds remaining, when Goldfarb set the ball, jumped back a step, and curled a shot just past junior goalkeeper Natalie Ryan (Beavercreek/Dayton Carroll) and inside the right post.

Sophomore midfielder Kaia Vorenkamp (Chapel Hill, N.C./Durham Academy) had a look at the equalizer in the 82nd minute, but Spartan keeper Maggie Storti made the save.

Case Reserve outshot Ohio Wesleyan, 15-3.  Ryan recorded 5 saves.
