KOKOMO, Ind. – The Ohio Wesleyan University women's golf team wrapped up their fall season this weekend at the IUK Crimson Classic hosted by Indiana University Kokomo at Wildcat Creek Golf Course. The Battling Bishops finished sixth with rounds of 376 and 371 for a team total of 747.
ROUND ONE
The Bishops started off with a 376 for round one on Saturday, led by
Audrey Nichols with an 87.
Lexi Rush was next with a 90.
Bella Gales and
Angela Soellner took the final two spots on the team scorecard. Gales shot a 99, followed closely by Soellner with a 100.
Carly Lehman made a 116 in round one.
Samantha Mazotas shot a 109 playing as an individual.
ROUND TWO
OWU would drop five strokes in round two, finishing sixth with a 371.
Lexi Rush improved her score by six strokes, putting up an 84 on day two to finish 14th with a 174.
Audrey Nichols dropped a stroke to an 86. She finished highest on the leaderboard for Ohio Wesleyan at T-12th.
Again
Bella Gales and
Angela Soellner took the final two spots on the team scorecard with a 100 and a 101 respectively. Gales finished 30th with a 199 while Soellner ended in 31st with a 201.
Carly Lehman ended in 34th with a 106 in round two for a total of 222.
Samantha Mazotas finished 33rd with a 209 after shooting 109 as an individual.
