D3HOOPS.COM RELEASE

DELAWARE, Ohio – On Wednesday afternoon, D3hoops.com released their Preseason All-American teams in advance of the 2025-26 Division III women's basketball season. Earning a spot on the first team was Ohio Wesleyan junior forward Macy Miller. This is the third time a Bishop has been named to a D3hoops.com Preseason All-America team, with Kacy Schipfer earning selections the past two seasons.

Miller was a fourth team D3hoops.com All-American last season as she led the Battling Bishops to a 24-5 record and a perfect 14-0 record in conference, earning the NCAC regular season title and an NCAA Tournament appearance where the Red and Black advanced to the third round before bowing out to Baldwin Wallace.

Miller averaged 16.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.0 steals, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 blocks in 27.1 minutes per game last season, ultimately earning her the NCAC Defensive Player of the Year award, an All-NCAC first team selection, and a first team D3hoops.com All-Region selection.

Miller and the Bishops get back on the court on November 8th in an exhibition against Findlay, before officially starting their season on November 10th against Otterbein. Both of those contests are set to take place at Branch Rickey Arena.
