ATLANTA, Ga. – The Women's Basketball Coaches Association announced its 2025-26 Academic Top 25 honor rolls on Tuesday afternoon. The Ohio Wesleyan University women's basketball team earned a special mention within NCAA Division III and held the highest combined grade point average amongst the seven North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) institutions listed at 3.644.
"The WBCA is pleased to recognize those women's basketball programs that have committed themselves to excellence on the court and in the classroom," said WBCA Executive Director Danielle Donehew.
In its 31st season, the WBCA Top 25 recognizes programs across the country that carry the highest combined GPAs within their respective divisions. A team must have a combined GPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale to be recognized. Programs falling outside of their division's top 25 but above the 3.00 minimum combined GPA requirement are named as special mentions.
The Battling Bishops boasted four College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honorees this season and had 11 players named to the NCAC Dr. Gordon Collins Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. Additionally, junior forward
Macy Miller was named a CSC First-Team Academic All-American.
