Jackson and Hines Jr. would link up again at the start of the second quarter, connecting on a 10-yard pass to complete a run of 27 straight for the Bishops, making it 27-0. After that, Otterbein was able to put a slight pause on OWU's dominance with two touchdowns of their own with just a Battling Bishop field goal sandwiched between them. Ohio Wesleyan would respond with another touchdown before the half as Jackson found
Mysaun Sanders for a nine-yard score to make it 37-14 at halftime.
The Red and Black came out of the break ready to get going again, scoring two more in the third quarter as Jackson threw one to
Reddik Pillarelli for 16 yards and ran the other in from eight yards out. Otterbein added another score right before the final break to make it 51-21 heading into the fourth quarter. Otterbein then opened the fourth quarter scoring with another touchdown before OWU finished it off with 14 unanswered points to bring the final score to 65-28.
