COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – On Wednesday morning, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced their 2025 Division III National Academic Squad. Ohio Wesleyan University boasted 15 total selections: four seniors, four juniors, three sophomores, and four freshmen.

Representing the Battling Bishops were seniors Quinn Dachisen, Alyssa Markell, Avery Slucher, and Emma Wright; juniors Grace Ammon, Annabel Fauver, Catherine Kent, and Payton Mindel; sophomores Maddie Federico, Izzy Fry, and Ava Zimmer; and freshmen Abbey Gordon, Morgan Leeper, Emma Mohns, and Jane Shields.

In order to receive the honor, student-athletes must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester and be nominated by their NFHCA-member coaches.
