ALLIANCE, Ohio and ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Ohio Wesleyan University men's track & field team competed in their final two last chance meets on Wednesday and Thursday, looking to put up top marks in hopes of qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor National Championships next week in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
The Bishops' field contingent of
Dominic Brown,
Ayden Clary, and
Austin Roberts traveled to Mount Union on Wednesday, while the track contingent of
Joel Adade,
Nate Snead,
Ryan Tripp, and
Connor Smith were sent to Augustana on Thursday.
AT MOUNT UNION
Dominic Brown nabbed fourth place in the javelin, throwing for 48.36 meters.
Ayden Clary claimed fifth in the hammer throw at 46.25 meters while
Austin Roberts took seventh at 45.71 meters.
AT AUGUSTANA
The 4x100-meter relay team of
Joel Adade,
Connor Smith,
Ryan Tripp, and
Nate Snead turned in a time of 41.08 and placed third.
Adade also ran in the 100-meter dash, placing 18th after a 10.79 in prelims.

Ohio Wesleyan now watches and waits to see where their top marks end up on the national stage following the last day of competitions on Thursday. National Championship selections will be announced on Friday, May 15th on NCAA.com.
