NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced its All-Academic Athletes and All-Academic Teams for the 2025-26 men's track & field season on Monday. Ohio Wesleyan University earned the All-Academic Team distinction and boasted three All-Academic Athletes: juniors
Dylan Harper and
Connor Smith, and sophomore
Nate Snead.
It is the second USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honor for both Harper and Smith, and the first for Snead. Harper is majoring in Computer Science. Smith is majoring in Economics. Snead is majoring in Biology.
To qualify for All-Academic Athlete honors, student-athletes must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 on a 4.00 scale and have met either of the following athletic standards: compete in an NCAA indoor or outdoor championship, or finish the indoor season ranked in the national top 50 in an individual event or the national top 35 in a relay event.
Programs are eligible for All-Academic Team honors by achieving a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.10 on a 4.00 scale – including the most recent academic term – and meeting other qualifying standards set by the USTFCCCA.
