COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) recently announced its Division III Watchlist for the 2026 season. Ohio Wesleyan senior midfielder Grace Ammon, junior forward Mary Powers, and junior midfielder Emma Reynolds were all named players to watch in the upcoming season. This is the third time on the preseason watchlist for Ammon and the first for Powers and Reynolds.

The NFHCA Watchlist recognizes student-athletes who have displayed a high level of achievement so far in their careers and are considered to have strong potential for NFHCA All-Region and All-America awards.

Ammon is a two-time NCAC Midfielder of the Year, having won the award the past two seasons, a three-time NFHCA All-Region selection, and a three-time first-team All-NCAC selection, as well as the 2023 NCAC Freshman of the Year. Last season, she ranked second on the Bishops in goals (8), assists (4), and points (20), and was fifth in the conference in goals per game (0.47) and points per game (1.18) and 10th in assists per game (0.24).

Powers was a second-team All-NCAC selection last season, leading the Bishops in goals (11), points (25), and game-winning goals (4), and ranking fourth in assists (3). She ranked third in the NCAC in points per game (1.47) and fourth in goals per game (0.65).

Reynolds was a second-team All-NCAC selection last season, displaying tremendous prowess on the defensive side of the ball. She led the OWU defensive front to nine shutouts and pushed forward for one goal and two assists for four points.

The Battling Bishops open up the 2026 season on the road at Lycoming on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
