Jerry Williams is beginning his second season on the Ohio Wesleyan football coaching staff. He coaches the Battling Bishop running backs.
Williams comes to Ohio Wesleyan with 8 seasons' coaching experience at the high school level. He served as an assistant coach at Big Walnut High School for 4 seasons, then moved on to Centerburg High School and then Mount Vernon High School for a total of 4 seasons as offensive coordinator.
He is a 1991 graduate of West Liberty State College, where he was a 3-year starter at fullback, receiving All-West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors. He served as team captain and was named the team's Most Valuable Player.
Williams is a native of Sunbury, Ohio, and attended Big Walnut High School.
