Josh Dillard is in his first season as an assistant football coach at Ohio Wesleyan. He coaches the Battling Bishop running backs.
He came to Ohio Wesleyan from Ohio Dominican University, where he spent 3 seasons. He coached linebackers during the 2021 season, running positional meetings and scout teams for offense and special teams, assisting with scouting reports and defensive opponent breakdowns, and serving as assistant special teams coordinator. Dillard was the position coach for an honorable mention Don Hansen All-America selection in 2021. During his first 2 seasons with the Panthers, Dillard was an offensive line assistant.
Dillard is a 2019 graduate of Urbana University, majoring in sports management. He served as team captain for the Blue Knights for 2 seasons. Dillard is pursuing his master of business administration degree from Ohio Dominican.
He is a native of New London, Ohio.
