Josh Runda begins his first season as an assistant football coach at Ohio Wesleyan University. He will serve as special teams coordinator and coach the Battling Bishop defensive ends.
Runda comes to Ohio Wesleyan after coaching for 2 seasons at Bluffton University. While at Bluffton, he coached linebackers, was head coach of the junior varsity squad, and served as recruiting coordinator.
Runda is a 2014 graduate of Bluffton. During his Beaver playing career, he was a 3-time All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference selection at linebacker, as well as a 2-time All-Ohio College Football choice. He set a school record for solo tackles in a season and finished his career ranked second on the Beavers' all-time list in tackles for loss.
He is a native of Lima, Ohio.
