Nate Weiland is in his first season as an assistant football coach at Ohio Wesleyan. He coaches the Battling Bishop wide receivers.
Weiland comes to Ohio Wesleyan from Miami University, where he served as a defensive assistant during the 2016-17 seasons. He assisted in opponent offensive breakdown, coached the RedHawk scout team wide receivers and kickoff return unit, and monitored academic progress. He began his coaching career as a student assistant at Grove City (Pa.) College, assisting the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach.
Weiland is a 2016 graduate of Grove City, majoring in exercise science. He played 2 seasons as an outside linebacker for the Wolverines.
He is a native of Ostrander, Ohio.
