Owen Fankhauser begins his second stint as an assistant football coach at Ohio Wesleyan. He serves as co-special teams coordinator and works with the Battling Bishop defensive backs.
He was previously on the Bishop coaching staff during the 2020-21 and 2021 seasons, coaching the Battling Bishop cornerbacks. Fankhauser served as an assistant special teams coach at The Ohio State University during the 2022 season.
Fankhauser is a 2020 graduate of The Ohio State University, where he played football for 2 seasons. He was an OSU Scholar-Athlete 3 times and achieved Dean's List honors once. Fankhauser worked with Ohio State football camps during 2018 and 2019.
He is a native of Stow, Ohio.
