Tyrone Petroy is in his second season as an assistant men's basketball coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Petroy came to Ohio Wesleyan after serving as an assistant boys basketball coach at Belleville High School for 3 seasons. During his time at Belleville, he helped the Tigers compile a 54-15 record, win back-to-back league and district championships for the first time in more than a decade, and increase the team GPA by a full point.
Petroy is a former NCAA Division I athlete at Eastern Michigan University, where he was a thrower for the Eagle men's track & field team. He majored in electronic media and film while at EMU.
He is a native of Flint, Mich.
