Brad Stuver is in his third season on the Ohio Wesleyan coaching staff while in the midst of his professional playing career. He coaches the Battling Bishop goalkeepers.
Stuver is currently under contract with the Columbus Crew SC of Major League Soccer. Stuver is in his second season with the Crew and his third season as a professional. He started the Crew's international friendly against Valencia CF and made 2 starts for the Crew in the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. In 2014, he spent time on loan with the Dayton Dutch Lions and the Wilmington Hammerheads of USL PRO. He started 11 consecutive matches for Wilmington and was named to the USL PRO Team of the Week once. Stuver spent 2013 as a pool goalkeeper in the MLS, making appearances on gameday rosters for Columbus, New England, Real Salt Lake and Chivas USA. He was drafted in the second round, 32nd overall, by the Montreal Impact in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft.
He is a 2013 graduate of Cleveland State University. Stuver played 4 seasons in goal for the Vikings, winning the starting spot during his freshman year and going on to receive 3 All-Horizon League citations. During his sophomore year, he was named the Horizon League Goalkeeper of the Year and was a first-team all-league selection.
Stuver is a native of Twinsburg, Ohio.
