Meg Grossman returns for her second season as head women’s lacrosse coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Grossman made her head coaching debut in 2012 and turned in an impressive season, guiding the Battling Bishops to an 8-8 record, an improvement of 5 victories over the Bishops’ 2011 campaign.  Under Grossman’s tutelage, the Bishops improved from a goal differential of -89 in 2011 to +9 in 2012.  The Bishop defense was particularly improved, surrendering 50 fewer goals than in the previous season.

Grossman is in her third year at Ohio Wesleyan.  She served as an assistant women’s lacrosse coach during the 2011 season and has been an assistant women’s soccer coach for 3 years.  

Grossman is a 2010 graduate of Allegheny (Pa.) College, where she majored in managerial economics and minored in communications. During her collegiate athletic career, she was a 4-year starter on the Gator women’s lacrosse team. She was a first-team all-region selection and a 3-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference pick. Prior to her college career, she was a 4-year letter winner in soccer at the Sayre (Ky.) School and was the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior.
