Rob Samp is in his second season as an assistant volleyball coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Samp came to Ohio Wesleyan after serving as a graduate assistant coach at Quincy University for 3 years. He also has youth coaching experience at the U-17 level in Frankfort, Ill., and at the high school level in Wheaton, Ill.
He is a 2013 graduate of Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne. During his playing career with Mastodons, he was a 2-time academic all-conference selection and served as team captain. He majored in psychology at IPFW and continued his education by earning a master's degree in communication from Quincy.
Samp is a native of Wheaton, Ill.
