Ohio Wesleyan University senior Taylor Rieger (Lewis Center/Olentangy Orange) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 2, it was announced by the NCAC.
Rieger, a guard on the Ohio Wesleyan men's basketball team, was named Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Rieger buried a trio of 3-pointers during a first-half run that opened up a double-digit lead and finished with a team-high 20 points as Ohio Wesleyan defeated Capital, 90-73, on Tuesday. He then led the Bishops with 19 points and 6 assists in an 88-79 win over Hanover on Saturday, including a pair of 3-pointers that capped a 10-2 run that gave Ohio Weslyean a 46-30 lead late in the first half.
