Ohio Wesleyan University junior Steven Hildebrand (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 16, it was announced by the NCAC.
Hildebrand, an attacker on the Ohio Wesleyan men's lacrosse team, was named Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week.
Hildebrand scored to wipe out a 1-0 deficit, and 14 seconds later, assisted a goal that put the Bishops ahead to stay in a 20-8 win at Wabash on Wednesday. He finished with a goal and 2 assists. In Sunday's 13-8 win at then-sixth-ranked Denison, Hildebrand assisted a goal that put the Bishops on the scoreboard, and 49 seconds later, scored for a 2-0 Ohio Wesleyan lead. He would go on to compile 3 goals and an assist during the first quarter alone, helping the Bishops build a 6-1 lead. Hildebrand finished the day with a team-best 3 goals and 2 assists.
